In 1966 DJ Alex Niko Nicolella was born in the famous city of Napoli in Italy which he still calls home today. He grew up being interested in black music (funk, soul etc). When disco turned hot, DJ Alex Niko Nicolella got involved in the club culture. And in 1982 under the sparkling discoballs he started djing with those funky discorecords. In the late eighties DJ Alex Niko Nicolella joined the housemusic explosion by redirecting his style into garage, deep and soulful house. Nowadays in Italy electro is high in demand. And thus he masters that too in his own style and manner.
 Somehow in between partying Alessandro Nicolella got his doctor in economy. He works now half days for a big bank and in the night he turns into the DJ, spinning at 1 or 2 events a week. DJ Alex Niko Nicolella is resident at the Flaway Posse and working freelance too.
