Marc was born on the 28th of July 1964 in his hometown Herford near the city of Köln (Cologne) in Germany. A little club there infected Marc with music back in 1978. Two years later he started gathering housemusic, building up a large collection in vinyl, cd and mp3. Except from house Marc listens to a wide variaty of music among which hardrock. He enjoys big concerts of U2, Simple Minds, Bon Jovi, The Cure and others. Because of his love for guitar chords Marc learned to play the instrument for fun.
In 1982 DJ Marcl played at the small club in his hometown. He treated the people to old Funkstyle "Gary´s Gang,Sister Sledge, Mystic Merlin ..." giving back the love for the music he received there. From 1992 on Marc took a break from turntabling. In 2001 he picked up spinning the music again with vinyl and MP3.
DJ Marc spins soulful deephouse with swingbeats, down and uptempo getting the people to groove to the beats on parties. Marc admires Luther Vandros and Frankie Knuckles for Frankie Knuckles created the spirit of house and still many vocals from Frankie's work are sampled today.
