DJ Big Logan lives in Hillside which he loves for its proximity to New York City. He was born in 1965 and grew up in New Jersey the buzzing mecca of dancemusic back then. For the man he is today, Curtiss Logan honors his loving grandparents, God rest their souls.

Surrounded in New Jersey by disco music and with Tony Vaughn from the radio station WBLS NYC as his uncle, the inevitable happened in 1979: Curtiss Logan started djing with the vinyl. Putting his love for the music in his awesome sets, by now DJ Big Logan played all the Jersey clubs small or huge and lots of other clubs in the New York area. DJ Big Logan made the dancefloor wild at Club, Euphoria, Club Eclipse, Club Marlo's, 43rd St. Cafe. Today being resident at the Club Armory DJ Big Logan is playing the cd-decks every Thuesday night presenting Jersey Soul warming the hearts of the dancing people with his rythm.

DJ Big Logan plays world beat, soulful dance, slight progressive house and rythms with tribal influences. He values songs in which authentic instrumentation is present and appreciates classics and housemusic embracing classic traditions for their strong presence. Big Logan looks for the presence of the soul in the rythm of housemusic that warms the heart and keeps your body dancing. With his sense for the rythm he adores to play the drums too. No matter how, DJ Big Logan plays all music to uplift the listeners and to promote and support the artists that create these wonderful tunes.
